Workt

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 18, 2026

The short version: Workt doesn't collect any data. Your workouts are stored on your iPhone, and nobody else can see them, including us.

Who makes Workt

Workt is an iPhone app made by Daniil Grodskiy, an independent developer. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Workt and its developer. If you have a question about your privacy, email support@workt.app.

What the app stores, and where

Workt keeps everything you enter in the app's own storage on your iPhone:

Workt has no account and no servers, and it doesn't connect to the internet. Your workouts are never sent to us or to anyone else.

What we collect

Nothing. Workt has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party code that collects data. That's why its App Store privacy label says "Data Not Collected".

Backups

Your iPhone's backups

If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or to a computer, Workt's data is included, as it is for most apps. Those backups are kept by Apple or on your computer, under your own settings and Apple's privacy policy. We can't see them.

Export Backup

Settings in Workt has an Export Backup button. It makes a file of your workouts and opens the share sheet, and the file goes wherever you choose to send it, such as Files, AirDrop, or an email. After that, the file is handled by wherever you saved or sent it.

Crash reports

If you turn on Share With App Developers in your iPhone's Settings, under Privacy & Security and then Analytics & Improvements, Apple may send us crash reports and basic diagnostics for Workt. Apple doesn't include your name, and the reports don't contain your workouts. You can turn this off at any time in the same place.

Beta testing with TestFlight

If you test a beta of Workt through Apple's TestFlight, Apple collects some information and shares it with us: crash reports, usage such as when you installed the beta and how many times you opened it, and any feedback you choose to send, with its screenshots and basic device details. If we invited you by email, this comes with your name and email address. If you joined through a public link, it doesn't, unless you email us feedback. Apple describes this in TestFlight & Privacy. It doesn't include your workouts, unless they show in a screenshot you send. We use it only to fix and improve Workt.

iCloud sync in a future version

A later version of Workt is planned to sync your workouts between your devices through iCloud. If it ships, your workouts will be stored in your own private iCloud database, which only your Apple Account can access. We won't be able to read it, and Workt will still collect no data. Sync will follow your iCloud settings. We'll update this policy before that version comes out.

Deleting your data

We can't delete your data for you, because we never have it.

Children

Workt doesn't collect data from anyone, including children.

This website

workt.app is hosted by Cloudflare. It doesn't use cookies, analytics, or trackers. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from attacks, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Emailing us

Email to support@workt.app is delivered to our inbox by Apple's iCloud Mail, as described in Apple's privacy policy. We use your email address and what you write only to reply and to fix what you report. We don't share it with anyone or add you to a mailing list. Ask us and we'll delete our emails.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. A change to what Workt does with your data, such as iCloud sync, will also be mentioned in that version's App Store release notes.
